A forgotten animated feature ready for a second life.
Eden is a hand-crafted animated feature by Andrzej Czeczot, created on cel and built as an ironic, surreal journey through Hell, Heaven and modern civilization. Around it stands a larger visual universe with strong potential for restoration, publishing, games and selected creative partnerships.
A feature-length animated odyssey for adults.
Eden follows Youzeck, an everyman wanderer travelling through Hell, Heaven and finally toward New York. Along the way he encounters myth, bureaucracy, satire, beasts, music, absurdity and historical echoes in a non-dialogue film conceived as a moving painting rather than conventional character animation.
The film
Produced through years of manual work, Eden rejects mainstream animation logic. Its line, rhythm, movement and imagery come from a highly personal visual language rooted in Czeczot’s illustration, satire and painterly imagination.
Why it matters now
The film is not only a finished work waiting to be rediscovered. It is also the foundation of a larger authored world, rich enough to support restoration, publishing, exhibitions, games and carefully chosen new collaborations.
“If you want a product that can enter the international market, the only chance is craftsmanship, the hand.”
A singular world before it becomes a franchise.
Myth, satire, paradise, inferno, bureaucracy, animals, music and grotesque modernity coexist in a world that feels singular rather than manufactured. That is what gives Eden both artistic identity and expansion potential.
Characters & Creatures
Youzeck, angels, devils, beasts, strange officials and allegorical figures create a cast that is instantly recognisable and visually ownable.
Myth & Satire
The world moves freely between folklore, theology, culture and absurd social commentary, giving it unusual thematic range.
Hand-Drawn Language
The line is not ornamental. It is the core of the project’s identity, linking film, publishing, objects and future adaptations.
Expandable Narrative Space
The material already contains enough places, motifs and symbolic logic to grow across formats without losing coherence.

Three entry points into the visual and tonal world of Eden.
The hand-crafted process is part of the value.
Eden was created through traditional, hand-made animation processes on cel, across years of work and with unusual visual ambition. Its hand-crafted origin is not a nostalgic footnote. It is central to the film’s identity and to how the project should be reintroduced today.
- 35 mm cel animation
Traditional material process rather than retro styling added after the fact. - Continuity of hand
Line, paint and motion emerge from sustained manual work, not software imitation. - Archival and cultural weight
This matters to festivals, institutions, restoration partners and serious collaborators.
How the world can grow.
The commercial interest of Eden lies not in generic franchise logic, but in the rare fact that a complete visual world already exists. New projects can grow from a finished artistic foundation rather than from moodboards and promises.
Film Restoration & Reintroduction
Digital restoration, curated screenings, festival positioning, VOD relaunch and rediscovery for contemporary audiences.
Mobile Game Prototypes
Small-scale, visually distinctive game concepts that validate audience response quickly without flattening the identity of the material.
Books & Art Editions
Bestiaries, albums, visual essays, making-of editions and curated print objects that naturally fit the project.
Collectibles & Licensed Objects
Figurines, prints and limited objects that grow from the existing visual language instead of generic branded merchandise.
Four ways into the project.
The film, its history and its possible future can be approached through festivals, critical reception, production process and the broader Eden Universe vision.
Festivals & Awards
Selections, competitions, awards, Cannes market presence and Academy Awards eligibility.

Built by distinct artistic voices.
Eden stands on the convergence of Czeczot’s visual imagination, Urbaniak’s musical authorship and Tomasz Filipczak’s long production commitment.
